Frankincense and Lemon

It is the first time I try this essential oil in a soap. I discovered this scent when I received a gift soap from Alexandra . The smell was different, exotic and I started to gather info about it. Since I am busy with creating soaps, I like more and more essential oils and I like to exploit their synergies in order to give an other role to soap rather than only washing hands or taking a bath. The frankincense oil is known to be a good remedy for depression, it is a lovely warming essential oil suitable for soothing everyday aches, pains and tiredness. Frankincense is also used in many Christian Churches. In the Indian culture, it is suggested that burning frankincense daily in the house brings good health. This oil is used in natural skin care for its soothing and toning properties, especially for dry skin. I wanted to combine the frankincense oil with myrrh, but as I didn’t have it home, I just went for another synergy: frankincense and lemon for a calming and warm effect .

Ingredients: organic coconut oil, castor oil, sunflower oil, bio palm oil, olive oil, goat milk, frankincense oil , lemon oil, rose clay.

Thank you again Amy for this challenge!

What a beautiful soap! I love to see your work. Where are you located? I see French and English and a few other languages on your blog, so I’ve been wondering what language you actually speak. Le français? 🙂
