Macedonia

This soap brings back nice memories of our last years trip to Macedonia. Sun, good food and the beautiful Ohrid lake. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, sunflower oil, and cassia essential oil to scent the colourful memories about a country which could be located somewhere in paradise.

Thanks Mika. Red clay with a little bit of colorant. I wish the red was more brightul, but it’s difficult to get it ( or maybe I had to use more colorant???).

    Hi Natalia,
    I’m Maja (pronounced Maya),I’m a Serbian girl,living in Macedonia.
I’ve been seeing your comments on Ksenija’s blog and recently started to follow yours, cos I like your soaps. I’ve been soaping myself for a few months and I enjoy it as much as look at others’ work.
I’m glad that you enjoyed Macedonia last year, hope you will come again. I don’t know if you visited Skopje, the capital and the place where I live, but if you didn’t, don’t miss it next time. It’s a place with a lots of sun, good places to go to and of course, good, delicious food in all seasons.
I must say that I’d had some ideas about creating some soap inspired by the flag, but you did it perfectly. I will ask,you don’t have to share, how this soap was made. I reckon that red portion was added after having placed the yellow parts, but have no idea about yellows. They are so fit in.

Best regards and keep that way!
