In 2009 we went to Croatia and by accident we stopped in Neum, a sea-side resort in Bosnia Herzegovina. We loved it so much that we stayed more than a week instead of the initially planned 2 days. We went back last year to discover more of this beautiful country.
Back to this soap and his colors: I am really proud to announce that this blue comes from Methyl blue which I have been looking for with so much curiosity! I have read that the color doesn’t hold in time, but I am really pleased to test this natural colorant which is also considered to be a disinfectant. For the yellow part, I used bee pollen which we all know that it’s a super food. Thank you all for your answers, I knew it would be piece of cake for Maja..or Gordana.. or Ksenija :).
P.S. Soap made for the challenge ‘Les Pays du Monde’ organized by Raphael .
Thanks Raphael !

Wow that is gorgeous! I love how brilliant that blue is, and the stars add such a wonderful dimension to the entire soap.
I really admire your persistant pursuit for natural coloranrs. I thought they were indigo and turmeric powders. Now,you made me curious about these ones. And what were the colorant you had used in your ‘Macedonia’ soap?
Excellent dear!
Ah, so that’s what you were working on! What a beautiful soap, Natalia. The blue is so pretty! It sounds like Neum is a wonderful place!
