Dragobete’s chocolate mousse

Lucuma chocolate mousseReteta (4 portii):
Pentru mousse de ciocolata-lucuma:
3 banane
Se toarna in pahare, alternand cele doua straturi.

Raw chocolate mousseRecipe:

For the lucuma-chocolate mousse:
3 bananas
200 gr chestnut puree/cooked chestnuts
400 ml bio coconut milk(bio or homemade)
70 gr bio dark chocolate
2 TbSp lucuma powder
Mix the bananas, the chestnut puree and the coconut milk with a blender, then divide the obtained cream in 2: add lucuma to the 1st part and the melted chocolate to the 2nd part, mixing well. Pour carefully the both creams into 4 pretty glasses, alternating layers.  Decorate with some grated chocolate / orage peel. Place it in the frigo to let it stiff.
For the chocolate mousse: add to the previous obtained cream more chocolate (instead of 70 gr you can use 100-150 gr). Pour it carefully into glasses and decorate with some coconut cream and some grated chocolate. Place it in the fridge to let it stiff.

P.S. I am sharing this with Jacqueline’s monthly bookmarked recipes event.

Oh, need to taste that! Why are you so far away from here…What on Earth is chestnut puree/cooked chestnuts??Did you do that yourself, or bought it ready-made?

    1. mijnzeep1 says:

Signe, I buy it (cooked chestnuts/chestnut puree) it but I know you can also make it home(never tried it as I discovered quite lately this ingredient). I hope you can also find it in shops, here it’s more specific for Xmas period.

When living in a small town in Finland, it’s often very hard to find any exotic ingredients for anything. But I need to make some studies about that, maybe I find something convenient… First I try that pudding Marika told us, because I think it’s easier to find chia seeds here…Does your family know how lucky they are having a mum/wife like you?? 😉

      2. mijnzeep1 says:

Signe, apart from lucuma, this mousse has simple ingredients, but the pudding Marika made sounds so good( think chia!).

  2. Marika says:

Again something delicious! I like the layered look. I have also been making chocolate mousse, but with chia seeds.

    1. mijnzeep1 says:

Mmm, how do you make it, Marika? I was thinking today of something with milk, chia seeds and cacao powder… maybe next we 😉

      1. Marika says:

I was just telling Signe about this recipe, because it is easy to make and very tasty. It contains chia, coconut milk, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and vanilla. I prefer it made with rice milk, because it tastes lighter that way.

    Multumesc!

    1. mijnzeep1 says:
